Who should fund the Charity Commission?

The Charity Commission is making a move to charge charities fees for regulation. This can be seen as an act of desperation which is the result of repeated budget cuts done by the central government. What used to be a £40m budget allotment is now down to £21m. Implementing this is rather a brash move than a strategic one. There is no solid impact study on the effects of charging fees for regulation. To move the commission to make a sound decision on this matter, we encourage you to share your views and suggestions.
