Learn to Read

A significant number of adults in England, approximately 2.4 million individuals, which accounts for over 7% of the working-age population, struggle with reading or lack the ability to read altogether.

Dyslexia is one of the reasons that someone may need to improve their reading skills. That is why the Dyslexia Association of London has teamed up with Read Easy to share with the community the opportunity to learn to read and empower adults to unlock their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.

About Read Easy

Established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2011, Read Easy set out on a mission to equip all adults with the reading skills they need to fulfil their potential. It provides free, personalised coaching to adults through a dedicated team of trained Reading Coaches.

Since then, Read Easy has grown to encompass more than 80 volunteer-led groups, actively assisting over 1000 adults in learning to read within their communities.

The benefits of reading can extend beyond the individual and enable families to break the inter-generational cycle of literacy difficulties.
