About Angie Le Mar

Angie Le Mar is a pioneering comedian and the first female stand-up on the Black British comedy circuit. With over 30 years in the industry, she is a multi-award-winning comedienne, TV and radio presenter, writer, director, and entrepreneur. Her autobiography Full Circle was published in 2017, detailing her journey, including overcoming dyslexia, depression, and personal losses. Despite facing challenges, Angie continues to inspire others with her story, particularly young people and Black women, encouraging them to pursue their dreams. Known for her sharp wit and creativity, Angie has made a lasting impact on both the stage and screen.
