The Dyslexia Health & Wellbeing Through Art is a project aimed at members of the dyslexia community in London. Its main objective is to promote and enhance the wellbeing of individuals by harnessing the therapeutic benefits of art.
Through various artistic mediums and creative expressions, the project promotes positive experiences, encourages self-expression and fosters a sense of healing. By embracing the unique strengths and perspectives of dyslexic individuals, this project looks to cultivate self-confidence, enhance communication skills, and nurture personal growth through artistic expression.
The project reaches out to local communities and charities in order to promote and nurture relationships that will benefit local community members.
By combining artistic expression with the promotion of physical, mental, and emotional well-being, the project seeks to empower individuals to explore their own health and wellbeing journeys actively.
The Dyslexia Health & Wellbeing Through Art Series is supported by a board of trustees and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and Local Dyslexia Funding.
